KOA's platinum temperature sensors comply with the resistance temperature characteristics (T.C.R.) of JIS and DIN standards. The introduction of a compact package has improved the thermal time constant. They are used for outdoor temperature measurement in air conditioning equipment, detecting filter clogging, cold junction compensation for thermocouple temperature controllers, temperature detection probes, hot-wire anemometers, temperature compensation, and temperature compensation for transmission and reception circuits in communication devices, among other applications. KOA's platinum temperature sensors achieve Class A (resistance value tolerance ±0.06%).
